Coaching applications for 2023 are now open and close 30th October with appointments being made 1st week of December.
The Process:
Complete the application prior to the 30th October 2022. Applications close on the 30th October 2022. A decision will be made on applications received up to this date only.
Most applicants will require an interview and we will endeavour to inform everyone on the status of their application.
There will be teams that don’t have coaches after this period and anyone wishing to coach one of these remaining teams teams must also fill in an application.
To ensure you are aware of Coaching responsibilities see below details that all coaches must agree to before applying for the role.
- All applicants must fill in this form, no verbal or email applications will be accepted
- All coaches, their trainers and manager must have:-
1. Working With Children Approval Completed
2 Register on Play Rugbyleague prior to 31st January 2023
3. Leaguesafe Qualification
4. Coaching Qualification or agreement to obtain this.
- You will be required to attend 2 pre-season meetings. 1 will be the coaching induction and another during the grading process. It is estimated there will be another meeting during the regular season and a semi finals meeting if you make it. These are compulsory and you agree to attend these as part of your application.
- You will need to arrange at least two parent helpers to help at allocated home games to help in the canteen and to attend two raffle evenings throughout the year to assist in fundraising for the club.
- The club has the final say in approving trainers and managers. Before coaches appoint anyone they need to send through who they will have assisting them throughout the year and the club will provide approval or advise otherwise on this.
